After seven years in business, IngenuitE continues to grow
OKLAHOMA CITY – The President of IngenuitE Inc., Isabel Chancellor, has recently been awarded the 2009 Enterprising Women of the Year award as well as the 50 Most Powerful Minority CEO’s & Corporate Executives award.
“These awards are such an honor since they’re selected by women for women and the recipients are competing with women throughout the nation,” said Chancellor. “My mission to be an innovator as well as to help other female-run businesses grow aligns perfectly with what these awards represent.”
Award recipients of the 2009 Enterprising Women of the Year award must demonstrate they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Chancellor was honored with 38 other women entrepreneurs throughout the nation.
The 50 Most Powerful Minority CEO’s and Corporate Executives award, hosted by The Minority Enterprise Executive Council, is given to minority women and men with small and veteran-owned businesses. It signifies strength and economic empowerment by increasing business relationships and partnerships in public and private sectors.
Chancellor founded IngenuitE in 2002 and offers cost-effective, flexible and reliable software services solutions. The company has contracts with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Tinker AFB, and continues to work with local, state and federal government entities, as well as with commercial businesses.
From its inception, the software company has seen remarkable increases in revenues year over year, with annual revenue increasing 219 percent in its first year of business.
