Works with Configuration Management to move software into production successfully. Modifies, configures, and develops applications. Designs/prepares technical reports/documentation and charts/graphs. Participates in all SW dev life cycle phases . Provides management project status, problems, issues. Establishes/maintains system security. Oracle SQL/PLUS, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux Shell scripts preferred.
to provide/support installation, maintenance, patching, and administration of system SW and/or DB in a mainframe, client-server, and/or web-based environment. Plans/coordinates new requirements with app dev staff; advises project teams on design of complex hierarchical/relational database. Creates, modifies, deletes, reorganizes, and performs back up and restoration of database files. Monitors database performance, resolves problems, performs fine-tuning, and recommends changes. Establishes/maintains DB security. Provides management project status, problems, issues. Proficiency in Oracle SQL/PLUS, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux Shell scripts required.
